The alleged breach, impacting both platforms and involving a threat actor named ‘roshtosh,’ was announced on the nuovo BreachForums. The hacker claims to have accessed databases containing 400,000 and 508,000 records from Teenpatti.com and Mpl.live, respectively. These records purportedly include highly sensitive personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses of users.

The potential data breach’s ramifications extend across India and resonate in the Asia-Pacific region, emphasizing the escalating threat of cyberattacks in this area.

While the breach remains unconfirmed, The Cyber Express has initiated contact with Teenpatti.com and Mpl.live for verification and additional details. This incident underscores the urgent need for robust security measures, especially in sectors like gaming that handle extensive volumes of personal user data.

Amidst this reported breach, users of Teenpatti.com and Mpl.live are advised to exercise increased caution and vigilance.
