(“Concentra”) after discovering unauthorized access to information belonging to Concentra patients. The breach compromised sensitive information, including names and Social Security numbers of affected individuals.

PJ&A, a medical transcription company serving various healthcare providers including Concentra, detected suspicious activity within its computer network on May 2, 2023. The investigation revealed that 13,300,750 people were impacted by the breach, prompting PJ&A to notify Concentra. Concentra initiated its investigation following PJ&A’s disclosure.

On February 4, 2024, PJ&A commenced sending data breach notification letters to affected individuals, detailing the compromised information. Notably, Concentra’s computer network remained unaffected, and all compromised data was stored on PJ&A’s network.
